Principal financing desks of large global banks are increasingly investing in asset-backed lending and private ABS trades. Given the bespoke nature of these investments, most banks rely on Excel files and manual processes for managing them.
The Challenge
As banks scaled these portfolios, the complexity grew with multiple underlying asset classes, deal structures and counterparties.
